Browser storage

Cookies and local storage

Last updated 25 July 2026
Private pre-launch version

MarsStay is not yet accepting public bookings. The final legal operator name, trading address and registration details must be added before public launch.

MarsStay currently avoids advertising and behavioural-tracking cookies. The private service uses only storage needed for security, sign-in, requested functionality and restoring work that a user has chosen to save.

What is used

TechnologyPurposeTypical duration
Private-site and account authenticationAllows the hosting and sign-in service to recognise an authorised user and protect private workspace routes.Controlled by the authentication service or until sign-out.
Partner draft reference in local storageLets a supplier reopen the same server-stored property draft on the same device.Until the property is submitted, the draft expires, or browser storage is cleared.
Progressive web app storageSupports installation and reliable loading of the MarsStay app shell where the browser offers that feature.Until the app data is cleared or refreshed.

No optional analytics or advertising storage

MarsStay does not currently set optional analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies. If optional technology is introduced, the cookie information and consent controls will be updated before it is enabled.

How to control storage

Browser controls can remove cookies, local storage and installed-site data. Removing essential authentication storage may sign you out. Removing the partner draft reference may prevent that browser from reopening an unfinished draft, although the protected server record may remain for its retention period.
